For Corris, we will be running coaches from and back to Birmingham New Street station, via Shrewsbury, at a cost of £30 return. We will have a team of volunteers in place from around 12 noon until around 2.30pm (exact times will be confirmed when the arrangements are finalised) who can collect children from their parents or meet them off trains if they travel unaccompanied. The whole group will then travel by coach to Corris. On the return our volunteers will again be available to hand children over or put them on trains from around 12pm
until around 2pm. On the whole we would rather that children didn't travel by car to EcoWeeks, because
we like public transport! However, you are welcome to deliver and/or collect children
by car if it is more convenient for you. We can send directions for getting to Corris: please aim to deliver children between 4pm and 5pm
on the first day and collect them between 10am and 11am on the last day.
For the Isle of Man, the EcoWeek price includes tickets and escorted travel on ferries to and from the Isle of Man, leaving Heysham (near Lancaster) at 14.15 and arriving back in Liverpool at 18.45 (IoMA) or 19.15 (IoMB). Escorts will be on trains from Birmingham New Street station to Heysham and back from Liverpool
